The 2023 Pinot Grigio Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT from L’Ua is an elegant and refined white wine, capable of interpreting the Alpine terroir with freshness and authenticity. It features a bright, clear, and brilliant straw yellow color, reminiscent of the cool breezes of the Dolomites. On the nose, it releases a delicate and enveloping bouquet, with hints of apple sauce, ripe pears, and citrus, enriched with mineral nuances, notes of lime, and a floral touch reminiscent of white flowers. On the palate, it is fresh and lively, with a soft, velvety sip that perfectly balances acidity and structure. The aromatic persistence recalls crisp fruit and a mineral undertone that enhances the varietal's typicality. The grapes, hand-picked in the sunny vineyards of the Dolomites, are vinified with soft pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation to preserve the aromatic fragrance intact. Located south of Vò Sinistro d'Avio in Trentino, L'Ua is led by Riccardo Scienza, heir to a family of winemakers. The 8 hectares of vineyards extend across sandy moraine soils, caressed daily by the Ora and Peler winds, which guarantee healthy and fragrant grapes. The strong temperature variations in September enhance the aromatics of the wines, a true expression of the Trentino terroir.
