Monleale Colli Tortonesi DOC 2020 from Vigneti Massa is an organic Barbera that combines structure, precision, and fruity intensity. It comes from vineyards on clay and limestone soils, with manual harvesting and selection in the vineyard at the perfect point of ripeness. Traditional vinification with daily pumping over, massaging of the pomace, and subsequent aging in small and large barrels creates a wine of great substance yet well-balanced. The color is a dense ruby red; the bouquet opens with black cherry, blackcurrant, and blueberry, with a rich and deep aromatic texture. On the palate, it is full-bodied, persistent, and full-bodied, with a substantial yet balanced structure. A Barbera from the Tortonesi Hills designed for those seeking authenticity, energy, and complexity.
