Montecitorio Derthona Timorasso Colli Tortonesi DOC 2023 Tappo a Vite di Vigneti Massa is a single-vineyard white wine grown on marl, with an eastern exposure and meticulously managed ripening. Cold skin maceration, white fermentation with bâtonnage, and extended aging on its lees create a Timorasso of great energy and definition. The aromatic profile revolves around lemons, ripe apples, mirabelle plums, and green apple, with nuances of mint and lemon balm that add precision and momentum. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, minerally, complex, and persistent, with a substantial structure yet well-maintained by its freshness. The screw cap enhances its integrity and cleanliness. A territorial, evolving, and highly recognizable Derthona.
