Albino Armani's Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore DOC 2023 is a wine designed for those seeking a distinctive, distinctive, and authentic wine. It originates in Veneto, Italy, from Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes, with a profile consistent with the grape variety and the winery's style. In the glass, it offers a deep red color and aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries, and spices (ginger in particular). The flavor is persistent and warm, yet also endowed with fresh notes and a pleasant savory finish. The soil, calcareous deposits on volcanic rock in Marano, supports structure, freshness, and a precise flavor profile. The manual harvest, in early October, enhances a careful selection of the grapes. In the cellar, the Valpolicella of the vintage is racked onto the fresh pomace from the Amarone racking, still maintaining its structure and aromas.
