The 50cl Sapientia Chardonnay glass is designed for the technical tasting of structured, complex, or aged white wines, where the aromatic component requires space to express itself in depth. The geometry of the bowl, smaller than that of glasses dedicated to red wines but still generous in volume, allows the wine to oxygenate in a controlled manner, favoring the unfolding of the fruity, floral, and buttery notes typical of mature Chardonnays and important white wines. The moderately closed mouth channels the bouquet towards the taster, intensifying the identification of the olfactory components without dispersion. The extremely thin and lightweight, hand-blown crystal allows for a direct and "clean" contact, preserving sensorial precision during tasting. The ultra-thin rim (0.8-1 mm) enhances the tasting experience, while the linear and very thin stem optimizes balance and control during serving. Thanks to its calibrated proportions, this glass is particularly suitable for white wines that require aeration and a layered tasting, as well as for low-dosage sparkling wines or gastronomic Champagnes.
